Rudolf Steiner School Facilities

Surrounded by bushland, our school is nestled on seven acres of sloping rural land.

Custom-built Steiner kindergarten rooms provide a nurturing environment for our littlest students. Their enclosed playground invites imaginative play with a sandpit, gardens, frog pond and play equipment.

In the primary school, each classroom is painted in a beautiful, subtle colour scheme. The classroom verandahs surround a courtyard featuring a mud brick cubby house built by students, sandpits and swings. The playground extends to ovals and a wetland dam, a nature-based playground with timber play structures.

A large and comfortable music room allows for exploration with a range of instruments, performances and movement classes. Our new library facility welcomes children to develop a love of books. Reading spaces and a computer research room adjoin it.

Our high school boasts state-of-the-art science laboratory and art room. Over the years the students have built up a fine permaculture garden and orchard to facilitate agricultural studies. A swimming pool allows for summer-time relaxation. A well-equipment workshop provides for woodwork and craft classes.

Parents enjoy a dedicated space to hold social activities, meetings, craft groups, the school shop and playgroup.

Our most recent addition is an impressive strawbale-built auditorium which will facilitate indoor sports and activities as well serving as a performance space. It features generous adjoining kitchen facilities, which will allow us to bring the entire school community together.
